Esso è l’immagine di quell’infinito che attira senza posa il pensiero, 

e nel quale senza posa il pensiero va a perdersi”

Queste due citazioni definiscono poeticamente e filosoficamente l’affascinante rapporto uomo-mare, oggetto della analisi e degli incontri tra giovani Italiani e Sloveni. Mare che suscita la meraviglia, mare che apre alla speranza, mare di libertà e avventura, ma anche mare di fatica e di tempesta. 

“Man’s heart is like the sea with its storms, its tides, its pearls”

“The sea view is touching in its majesty. 

It is the infinite that powerfully attracts the mind,

The infinite where thoughts get lost”

These quotes define the fascinating relationship between man and the sea both poetically and philosophically. This theme has been the focus of the workshops between Italians and Slovenians. The wonder of the sea, the sea as hope, freedom, adventure but also the sea as danger, storm, turmoil.
